Let's face it...money is no one's favorite subject unless you have tons of it. The reality of life is that if you are reading this you are probably somewhere in the same boat as I am.
We are a one-income family of eight.
Our needs are met as well as some of our wants.
We have to plan most if not all of our purchases no matter how small they are.
There is little "play" room with our finances.
We are happy.
Sound somewhat familiar?
Unfortunately talking about finances with our spouse is not one of the easiest conversations to have. This is usually the source of headaches and plenty of stress for everyone involved.
The good news is it doesn't have to be that way.
You can run your home like you would operate a business.
How do you do that you ask?
You become your family's Chief Financial Officer.
Filling this role is not exactly an easy thing to do but it's something that has to be done. Now it's possible that your husband takes care of the finances like paying bills and budgeting but you can still help the financial situation your family has. There are so many aspects of a family's finances that I believe it's impossible for one person to tackle it alone...unless of course it's only one person there.
Forgive me if I'm reinventing the wheel here but some ideas work for some people whereas some do not. Stick with me for a little while and I'll show you what works for our family. Perhaps you can take away a few new ideas that could work for your family.
I'm going to discuss creating a budget, organizing your finances, getting rid of debt, ways to cut spending and increase funds while living a frugal, simple life.
See you soon!!

It will be refreshing for me to see how more wives who take care of the budget. I have always taken care of our finances and it is very stressful for me. Sometimes I feel as though my husband should be doing it, but he just simply isn't as good at it as I am and he knows it....so he leaves me in charge. Looking forward to your posts.
