Weekly Goals 5/6-5/12

For me, if my day to day life isn't planned out and written down then it just simply doesn't happen. Seriously, I will forget everything -just ask Drew. I have to have order for me to function. I don't do well with "fly-by-the-seat" plans...that actually makes me really nervous and I'll get agitated.

I have routines for morning, afternoon, night, daily, weekly, cleaning, chores -you name it. If something happens and I miss part of my routine then I feel like my world is falling apart. One might ask how am I able to keep sane having six kids and OCD....ohhh, let's not get into it...

Really though, I'm not strict with my routines. As long as everything gets done in a decent time frame and I'm not frantically trying to do stuff at the last minute then I'm okay.

One of my goals for 2012 was to become more intentional with all aspects of my life. That's pretty broad, I know, and not really measurable, again, I know.

Anyways, at the beginning of every week I sit down and make a list of all the goals I would like to achieve this week -since I'm a complete over-achiever and all. I try to not fit so many in that I can't possibly complete them all and thus feel like a failure.

Without any more random rambling, here are my goals for this week:

Faith
     a. Daily Bible Reading x7
     b. Read/Study Chapter 1 in Every Woman in The Bible .
     c. Start Prayer Journal

Marriage
     a. Nightly Devotion with Drew before bed x7 (Devotions for Couples)
     b. Go to gym together x4
     c. Evening walks together x3

Kids
     a. Days 1-7 of 31 Days to Happier Children
     b. Start Blanket Training
     c. Take some (late) Spring pictures

Organizing
     a. Master Closet
     b. Bathroom Closet Finished (5-8)
     c. Hall Closet

Crafting
     a. Set up sewing area
     b. Repurpose Drew's tees into shorts for boys
     c. Edit Spring pictures

So, you see, I have a busy week ahead of me already! I'm also going to be offline during the day (10am-8pm)...that's going to be hard...but the kids have 8 days left of school so that means that I have A LOT to do in a little bit of time so that I can fully enjoy our summer break!!

What are your goals for this week?
